Gala Dinner
Monday, 3 September, 2007 20.00-24.00
The highlight of the IPNA 2007 Congress, the Gala Dinner will be held in a historical place, in one of the most attractive sights of Budapest in the Museum of Fine Arts. The monumental building is located in the heart of the city, next to the Heroes’ Square, the Vajdahunyad Castle and the Museum of Contemporary Art. The paintings and sculptures will give a memorable surrounding. Because of the limited capacity of the Museum, we only can guarantee places for participants who had registered until the Standard Deadline. For those who registered later, spaces will assured upon availability.
Guided visit of the Spanish and Flemish collection will be available from 22.00

In your registration pack you will find a ticket for the Gala Dinner. Two types of tickets are issued. The participants with Registration number under 1027 have guaranteed places in case they select their tables latest until 17.00 on 2 September (Sunday evening) at the Registration Desk. Participants with Registration number over 1027 can reserve tables for the Gala Dinner only from the morning of 3 September (Monday from 07.00) and only upon availability.

An approximately four-hour sightseeing tour shows the most attractive features of the capital. The tour includes a visit to the Hungarian Parliament where the Coronation Regalia can be seen (on 1 and 3 September). On 2 September tour includes a visit to the Hungarian State Opera House instead. The Residence of Queen Elisabeth (Sissi)

A tour to Gödöllő, a settlement close to Budapest, to the castle of Grassalkovich, which was the residence of the Habsburg Royal Couple (King Franz Joseph and Queen Elisabeth) during the second half of the 19th century.
The largest baroque building complex in Hungary includes the apartments of the royal couple, the beautiful ballroom and the baroque opera.

Danube Bend Tour

The whole day programme includes visiting Esztergom, the
birthplace of the first Hungarian King and the residence of the
Hungarian Cardinal Archbishop (Basilica, Treasury). Afterwards
a short walk at the picturesque Visegrád, which once was the
seat of the Hungarian Kings, exploring the ruins of the old
Royal Palace and the medieval fortress. Lunch will be served at
the Renaissance Restaurant, which offers unique atmosphere
and good cuisine.

between 1875 and 1884 by Miklós Ybl, is one of Budapest’s
best known landmarks. A magnificent building that meets

achievements in Budapest.

The Jewish Sights of Budapest
Monday, 3 September, 2007 09.30-13.30

This tour includes an inside visit of the Synagogue complex
(Jewish Museum, ghetto and World War II area history). The
Synagogue has a very rich history. By the end of the 18th century the Jewish people were allowed to leave the Buda
side of the city and they create an area known as the Jewish
quarter of Budapest on the Pest side. The historical building of
the Synagogue is the second largest in the world.
A 3 hours long walking tour in the Synagogue and in the surrounding. Transportation by bus, English speaking guide, entrance fee and refreshment included.

CANCELLATION POLICY OF REGISTRATION AND OPTIONAL EVENTS
All the cancellations and changes of registration and optional social events and tours must be sent to the Congress Organiser in written form.
Refund of the fees will be made as follows
- 100% refund (minus an administrative fee of 25 €) – in case of cancellation received
before 15 June, 2007 - 50% refund – in case of cancellation recieved between 16 June and 31 July, 2007
- No refund – in case of cancellation received after 1 August, 2007
All refunds will be processed after the IPNA 2007 Congress. Please send your exact bank account details in the written cancellation.
